Iron3 want to introduce International Wine Traders – Zurich 2014, workshop fully dedicated to wine companies happening on June, Monday 16th.

Switzerland with its 41.285 km2 of surface and 7,78 millions citizens (2010 data) it's the 94° Country in the world for citizens and 135° for surface.
The most populated city is Zurich (385.000 people), follow by Geneva (191.000 people), Basel (169.000 people) and Berna (capital town with 130.000 people)
Cinderella of Europe, it's one of the richest Country in the world with unique characteristic in Europe. We can compare Switzerland market to historical European markets (Germany and France) consider the quantity of Italian products but to the other side, the high rate of growth of Italian import product is similar to new market trend as Russia or Brazil.
Switzerland wine consumption is between 2,7 and 2,8 million hectoliters and a total sales volume of 3 billions CHF (1,86 billions euros), with a pro-capita consumption of 40 liters. Wine market registered a growth of 6,4% and it's at the third place as Italian wine import with +10% (Italian Chambers of Commerce for Switzerland, June 2013)
OPERATING METHOD:
Event will happen at Swissotel (Schulstrasse 44 ▪ 8050 Zurich ▪ Switzerland ) from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.. It will be present more than 150 professional operators from all over the Switzerland, mainly from German speaker side.
38 tasting area will be create to guest the wineries. During the event, importers and other operators will be free to walk around the hall and taste wines from different wineries.
Fron 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wine lovers and private collectors could attend the event.
